Koene — Karting Accessories Store Founded by Karting and F1 champions powered by ScandiPWA — Case Study

Koene is a karting goods retailer operating since 1992 and selling 10 000 products all across the Netherlands. The store was founded by Martijn Koene, once a well-renowned driver with 2 European titles in karting and F1 driver Jos Verstappen.

Project Approach:

• MVP-focused development workflow focused on minimizing costs and maximizing the use of out of the box features
• Quick-launch with ScandiPWA and Magento 2 Open Source adding extra features after go-live

Migrated from Magento 1 to the latest Magento 2 and ScandiPWA frontend with all the product and customer data. Implemented support for Adyen payments and UPS shipping. Also, the new website utilizes geographic location determination based on users' IP.

Results:

• 46% increase in Organic Traffic
• Improved User Experience due to faster load times and an updated design
